Brig. SKS Rana's passion for agro-based activities drove him to understand the specific mandates and regulations on how agriculture and sustainable product policies are enforced and implemented in India. His on-ground, strong experience,of 17 years in the corporate accompanied by his love for our motherland, having served 35 years in the defense has significantly advanced his understanding of the intricacies of India’s policy development, and procedures within this sector. He is the most senior person in our team and he is leading all major functions of the organization, including finance, general management, and business development.

An ardent believer in using progressive measures and technologies to largely impact the global societal community in a ‘greener’ manner. Having come from a farming background, Ram's keen interest lies in agriculture, and environmental-related business ventures. His vision for the socio-economic development of smallholder farmers inspired him to work closely with the farming community. He has experience in the sustainable sourcing of agricultural raw materials and works closely with CPG brand companies. He leads the supply chains, business development, and general management operations at Harvestify.

Poorva’s interest in food and agriculture has been innate, having traveled extensively across India while growing up. Armed with a business degree, her interest in sustainable food and agriculture piqued after winning an award for academic excellence from Sophia College Bombay. She has a 10 years long rich experience of working in the food industry starting her journey from Taj Hotels(Tata Group) to working with award winning pastry chefs Allison Bobbit and Sarah Bell in Toronto. After returning to India, she found her niche food venture. Subsequently, Poorva co-founded Harvestify with the aim of creating a dent in the food industry. Over the years, her creative inclinations, skills and her knowledge regarding the food raw materials led Poorva to play a pivotal role in making crucial decisions for Harvestify by correlating relevant food raw materials and consumer food products while also handling the Administration and Human Resource of Harvestify Private Limited.

As the Principal Investigator of several externally funded National / International research projects, Dr.Rao has visited several international organizations in Germany, USA, Mexico, Uruguay, Japan and Switzerland. His association with crop improvement programmes, seed programmes, agri- business incubator, food and agri-business, organic agriculture has been duly recognised and well-received. Dr. Rao stresses upon the need based basic and strategic research on oilseeds and pulses. Versatile professional with a proven history of development, Dr. Rao has to his credit twenty varieties of various crops. Self-motivated with demonstrated success in agricultural university administration, he has developed seed production and supply systems in tribal areas to improve the quality of seeds availability and enhance the livelihood of tribal farmers. He believes that streamlining activities in the agricultural value chain can help to strengthen sustainable farmer income. He advises Harvestify in operations, agriculture seed research & technology and business development.

Mr. Ashok K Gupta

Mr. Ashok Gupta has 30 years of experience in investment banking and credit. He has worked as Assistant General Manager, Chief Auditor & Chief Manager at Nationalized Banks in India and Corporate Financial Institutions and has 4 years of experience as a Consultant in Financial auditing institutes. He advises Harvestify on financial decisions and investment strategies.

Dr. Birendra Tiwari

Doctorate and Master's Degrees in Legal Studies & Research Barkatullah University Bhopal, India

Dr. Birendra specializes in Indian corporate and agriculture laws and advises Harvestify and major agribusinesses on a range of legal and regulatory subjects. For over 7 years he has worked as an advisor on agriculture act and policies in government sector & corporate. He has also represented the Landmark Group, a UAE multinational conglomerate, for 8 years in corporate compliance and liaisoning. Having worked exclusively for businesses operating in the domain of agriculture, he is an expert on legal and regulatory issues and has amassed an in-depth understanding of the workings of the industry through his many years of experience as a specialist service provider.
